 Dante LOVES art now because of your program when we were able to send him! "Hi, I just wanted to thank your staff for introducing me to KidzArt. My daughter is 4 years old and was recently tested for kindergarten readiness and the teacher was blown away at my daughter's abilities. Out of 18 children in the class no other child was able to completely draw the geometric figures given. They were also asked to draw themselves and only expecting stick figures, my daughter drew a detailed three dimensional figure. Her coloring skills are that of a six year old. The teacher explained to me that this type of advancement will help her excel in math and reading. I feel that my daughter's experience with the KidzArt program at such an early age plays a big role in her academic achievements. "Thank you for bringing the KidzArt program to our elementary school. My son Sean, a 1st grader, has always loved to draw and be creative but we could not find an art class for younger kids. They had a great time and made a whole bunch of very cool projects including sketch books covered with tie-dyed coffee filters, watercolor paintings, dyed tote bags, and sand sculptures. "Sandy Wilkerson has been instructing my son Gus, for the last 2 years in Frenchtown MT. She is Awesome! I read her comment on the website regarding my son’s disappointment in not attending class on a sick day. It was true! He was upset with me for not allowing him to go to art class, despite being home sick all day. He loves Sandy. "Hats off to Sandy and your program, and thank for sharing with our young people. It’s a super program and a great outlet. Keep up the good work." "I am equally delighted with the program, Philip's artistic abilities, and Megan's work with Philip. I have been looking for someone to help me with Philip. I mention to other teachers about my concern with his doing gross, mutilating art work since grade 3ish. I am most frequently told not to worry about it, and to instead focus on the detail. Well, the detail was just getting more gruesome. I find Megan's approach to be delightful. She seems happy and upbeat and very matter of fact in challenging Philip to "think outside of the box". I would like to frame pieces that Philip works on. So, my overall goal for Philip is being accomplished with Megan's attitude and work. Thanks again. Your program is truly a breath of fresh air for me, and I am sure for Philip.
